This sucker is from an old sketch of the week "Boar of the Worlds" I just wanted to ink it. I've included the original sketch as well. Comparing the 2 now, I think I overdid it with the black on the shadowed legs.
Whenever I can't think of something to draw, I just ink something. The cheesed off wookie with dreads is from a pen and paper Star Wars RPG game a couple of years ago. Inking is FUN!
Here ya go from sketch, to first pass inks, which I scanned and printed out, then took that printout and first with pencil, then with pen, dropped in more black then the same image with final adjustments in Photoshop then with a touch of color
These first 2 are more that I've done for my son to color. This one I drew and inked last night. Clearly the background needs work, and the dinos could use some detail. A little shading on the plane wouldn't hurt either.
This one I drew last week, and just inked last night. I really need to develop a background for this one. There's an earlier piece that goes with it, that I'm going to develop into something. This one I drew on my last plane flight and inked last night. This one I drew 2 weeks ago, and just inked last night.
Here's something I drew up last night in preparation for Mother's Day. most everything else I did last night was inking...
This one I did at the theater waiting for Spider-Man 3 to start. Spidey needs someone chasing him to explain the poorly chosen hand position.
now that this is scanned, I can experiment with detailing these tentacles
This one's from a couple years ago. I'm posting it, because I just inked it last night. It needs work, and now that it's scanned, I can print some copies off and try some different things.
